Britax is one of the best selling car seat brands thanks to their reputation for safety. The Britax B-Safe is one of our favorite car seat model of the year.

Note: old versions of this system were recalled by Britax to replace the car seat adapter. This issue has now been resolved and new models are not affected. You should contact Britax if you own an old model, however.

Graco is the brand that invented the baby travel system with their Click Connect technology. They've fallen a bit behind lately, and their car seat isn't our favorite anymore (read our review of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35), but they continue to offer great value for money with their stroller bundles.

Best stroller for the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 infant car seat: the Graco Fastaction Fold Jogger Click Connect. It's a good contender for the top spot on the jogging stroller list but works great in every situation.

With Peg Perego, you're looking at the high-end of baby gears. The Italian brand is well-known to produce luxury car seats and equipment. They are expensive, but you get premium materials and fabrics and stylish design with a longlasting quality. Our review of the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio shows that the car seat is no exception. It would rank number one on our list if it wasn't for its premium price.

If you have the budget, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

8. UPPAbaby MESA

We love UPPAbaby here at Baby Gear Essentials. They are the first brand to build infant car seats without nasty chemicals (check our review of the UPPAbaby MESA to learn more). They are a bit more expensive than Chicco, which probably explains why they aren't as popular in the US yet, but you can't go wrong with their travel system bundle.

Best stroller for the UPPAbaby MESA infant car seat: the UPPAbaby Full-Size Vista if you need the car seat and the infant bassinet. If you only need the stroller and car seat, you should go for the UPPAbaby Full-Size Cruz. They both come in different colors and style.

• • Question: Can any car seat fit in any stroller?
    Answer: No. Only car seats and strollers from the same manufacturers will usually work together as is but you'll need to use an adapter to fit a seat and a stroller for different brands. Not every match is possible, unfortunately, so make sure to check what's available before buying.

• • Question: What is the best stroller car seat combo?
    Answer: The overall best travel system is the Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System. It's a great value for money. You can check our review above. But if your budget allows, the UPPAbaby Full-Size Vista is even better (but also more expensive).

• • Question: Do strollers come with car seats?
    Answer: Not always, it depends if you buy a bundle or not. If you need both a stroller and a car seat, we recommend buying them together in a bundle as you'll save money.

• Question: Can you put an infant in a stroller?
  Answer: Yes, if you have a car seat that can fit with your stroller. Do not attempt to place the infant car seat on your stroller without the appropriate adapter as that wouldn't be safe. You should also check the minimum weight and size requirement for your child to use the default stroller seat that came with it.
