The unproblematic fact that this movie "promotes" divorce and "getting dorsum out in that location" to exist "used" for sexual practice at 40 years old, is sickening. Throwing in complete strangers with your children? How in the earth could anyone find this picture show entertaining or beautiful? Bottom line, if you enjoy movies that glorify divorce and a broken home, and so this movie is for you. Let'due south not kid ourselves here... the "so-chosen" ridiculous happy ending would not exist the case in real life. What'due south real, is that if you were Reese Witherspoon, your children would be completely screwed up and you would be severely depressed. People destroy themselves and their children considering they worship their "feelings", and how they call up their lives should be.

I definitely concur with the viewers who said it had a Hallmark movie feel. I always beloved Reese Witherspoon and Candace Bergen, but there was something really uneven about this film. Don't get me wrong...I love a good rom com, but the kickoff half definitely was theater quality, and the second half was more than of a made-for-Telly movie feel.
One thing I accept to give the flick credit for was pairing a 40-twelvemonth-former woman with a younger guy. At first information technology seemed unrealistic to take these 20somethings fighting over her (and I say that as someone who was unmarried until almost xl and did appointment plenty of younger guys). But and so I realized function of the reason I felt this was is that we don't see information technology in movies enough. It is always a Clooney blazon with a woman two decades younger and no i bats an eye. Then hats off to that.
I think in the end it was a swell premise, but the execution but didn't feel fresh or unique enough for me to love it.

I love Reese Witherspoon, but I don't know what she was thinking when she agreed to practise this movie. The acting is atrocious. The script is awful. The filming is awful. The plot is ridiculous. This is something for Lifetime or Hallmark, not the big screen.

Very cute movie. I am a romantic one-act fiend - from the black and white classics, through all of Meg Ryan's, Sandra Bullock's, and naturally, also Reese Witherspoon's. (While yous Were Sleeping is probably my thought of the perfect romantic comedy- just so you know hither I am coming from) This movie is one of the skillful ones but non one of the all-time. The bandage was excellent. The setting was perfect. The situations were believable. The story line is a little bit light, compared to some other movies, but you do leave the moving picture feeling skilful. If y'all are choosing to stream this movie at night, because you can't sleep, it is an excellent choice.

I love Reese Witherspoon and take seen all of her movies. To exist honest, when I saw the previews for "Home Once again" I was not that impressed. It looked similar cookie-cutter fair so I delayed in watching it. True, the picture is far fetched and doesn't seem like something that could probable happen, except in movies, notwithstanding I was taken in by Reese and everyone else in the movie. Well acted, fun, and a good escape for a boring Friday evening.

Reese Witherspoon is a compelling, likeable screen presence. All the characters seem very real, if a footling Hollywood. It's not a "great movie" but I enjoyed every infinitesimal cheers to all the great actors. It's nice to see a motion-picture show with a forty year old woman as the protagonist that isn't a caricature.

Well, it was beautiful, and all the actors were cute. The kids in the movie were beautiful. All the friends were cute. The ex-husband was cute. The house was REALLY cute.
But the story was strange. I got the feeling that the writer of the screenplay has lived among the oddball world of actors, artists, musicians, writers, dancers and other disconnected folks who populate the southern California "Hollywood" scene and take lost bear on with what normal life is for most people. Even stranger is that the actors are playing this straight - similar they aren't aware that most people don't actually live like this. To be honest, I find it only a little bit frightening that so many folks gave this flick adept reviews! 😱
The plot was strange - without direction and without an actual resolution at the end. It was played as if it were a classic "happy ending", just I wasn't satisfied at all and didn't retrieve the ending was happy by any stretch of the imagination.
Information technology might be interesting to some people, but this weird tale was tedious and flat to me. I didn't intendance about the characters, I didn't care what happened, and at the end, I didn't really care that there was no resolution.
